Human Rights

Welcome to the second episode of the Brembo Supplier Code of Conduct Training series. This chapter is dedicated to Human Rights and explains what Brembo expects from all suppliers in safeguarding people throughout the value chain. Building on the global framework introduced in Chapter 1, this video translates human rights principles into concrete requirements for daily operations, on every site and in every country.

In this video, we will explore:

  • Protection of children and young workers, including the minimum age for work and safeguards for workers under 18.
  • The prohibition of forced labour, human trafficking and modern slavery, with a focus on vulnerable groups such as migrant workers.
  • Respect for the right to work, freedom of association and collective bargaining, and the need for effective worker representation.
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion, and the prevention of any form of harassment or discrimination.
  • Fair working schedules, in line with ILO principles and local legislation on working hours and rest.
  • Compensation and benefits that ensure fair wages, social protection and equal pay for equal work.
  • Respect for local populations and communities, including indigenous peoples, and the management of impacts on surrounding areas.

Human rights are the foundation for workplaces where people can truly thrive and businesses grow responsibly.
