Code of Conduct
Welcome to the sixth episode of the Brembo Supplier Code of Conduct Training series. This chapter focuses on Environmental Protection and outlines how suppliers are expected to manage their impacts on climate, resources and ecosystems. It connects product quality and workplace safety with responsible environmental practices along the entire value chain.
In this video, we will explore:
- The implementation of Environmental Management Systems aligned with ISO 14001 and continuous improvement of environmental performance.
- Climate emissions and reduction, including monitoring, transparent disclosure and science-based reduction targets.
- Waste, circular economy and water management, with emphasis on resource efficiency, recycling and pollution prevention.
- Responsible management of chemical substances, including Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) and safer alternatives.
- Responsible sourcing of minerals, traceability and due diligence in line with international standards and regulations.
- Protection of forests and biodiversity, avoiding deforestation-linked raw materials and mitigating impacts on local ecosystems.
Environmental protection is more than a compliance exercise: it is a shared responsibility and a key driver of risk management, competitiveness and long-term value creation for Brembo, its suppliers and the communities in which they operate.
